yoga

For me, Yoga is not only a practical tool but a way of life. Whether you join me for my regular sessions in Vienna or on open waters for Sail’n’Mind: My teaching combines strong Ashtanga sequences with relaxing Yin poses and various breathing methods. Whenever possible, I aim to add my knowledge on mindfulness and meditation techniques in formats such as Yoga’n’Mind. Originally, I attended my first yoga class while studying abroad in the UK in 2013. I was deeply inspired by practicing asanas and experiencing my own breathing. After a prolonged period of diving deeper into different styles of yoga, mindfulness and well-being more broadly, I certified as a yoga teacher at Samasti Yoga, in Bali in 2017.

As a Graphic Recorder, I love to dive deep into new fields of knowledge and to summarize ideas, conversations and processes in creative ways stimulating exchange and discussion.

In 2017, I learned my craft in a 200 hour training program with one of the leading experts in Austria. This acquired tool set and my scientific background help me to structure ideas and to capture the key elements of your presentations or debates.

mindfulness

Mindfulness is a perfect tool for easing my mind, connecting with the world around me and refocusing, moment for moment, with less judgement. Since actively starting to practice mindfulness and meditation in 2015, it has helped me to develop a daily practice. Last summer, I joined the Oxford Mindfulness Centre for the Summer School on Compassion in Action and was asked to rejoin them for a graphic recording of their Masterclass: Mindfulness for Leaders. Throughout this process, I have learned techniques to incorporate mindfulness into my daily urban life, especially when being required to work in front of screens constantly. Now, my vision is to make mindfulness the standard.

be happy in the moment, that’s enough

social entrepreneurship

In 2016, my interest in social and ecological issues led my way to SEF- Social Entrepreneurship Forum, an initiative providing an event and information platform for social entrepreneurs (to be). As the current chairwomen of SEF, I aim to bring a mindful and holistic approach to the discussions and further base the ecosystem on the principles of impact and entrepreneurship. The goal is to support entrepreneurs with a socio-ecological focus to tackle the global challenges of the 21st century.
