what is mindfulness?

Mindfulness seen as an exercise for the brain to enhance positive traits like focus and reduce less positive traits like fear or stress. It is a practice of paying attention to our present experience, whether it is a sensation in the body, a sound or an emotion or thought. There is a growing number of scientific studies showing the mindfulness and meditation can positively impact mental and physical health. Mindfulness means to become more aware of your own experience, moment to moment, without judgement.

Mindfulness – workshops and retreats for you and your organization

I am aiming to make mindfulness the standard in everyday life. I am practicing meditation myself since 2015. In summer 2018 I joined the Oxford Mindfulness Centre for there Summer School on Compassion in Action to deepen my personal studies on mindfulness and connecting to researchers and practitioners.

I am providing workshops and tailor made courses for clients and different organisations helping to cope with the challenges of the 21st century.

There I founded with colleagues Yoga’n’Mind and Sail’n’Mind combining yoga, mindfulness and the art of modern movement. It is all around the areas of urban health, community living, stress reduction and modern focus.
